Clarence compression project
Gulf South Pipeline Company, LP ("Gulf South") has proposed the Clarence Compression Project to create new transportation capacity on Gulf South’s existing pipeline in north Louisiana and create additional market access to production from the prolific Haynesville Shale. Gulf South is proposing to construct and operate one new 10,311 horsepower compressor unit and appurtenant facilities at Gulf South’s existing Clarence Compressor Station located in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. Gulf South submitted its prior notice request to FERC for this project in Docket No. CP10-465-000 on June 23, 2010. Construction of the facilities is projected to commence in the 3rd quarter of 2011, and we expect the additional compression to be in service in the 4th quarter of 2011.
